Administrative Assistant/Communication Coordinator

Serving as the administrative assistant to the Chief Information Officer. Other responsibilities include media coordination and reporting metrics and coordination of IT and Communications travel and correspondence.
Administrative Assistant to Chief Information Officer
Schedule meetings, meeting prep and note keeping
Schedule CIO travel and other related department travel coordination
Assist with CIO correspondence (inbox: mail and email, outgoing)
Monitor calendar and requests (edits, reviews, etc.) of CIO
Manage 3rd party vendor relationships i.e. Verizon Wireless, Ticketprinting.com, etc.
Maintain files and other forms of records
Department-wide duties
Keep IT and Communications department calendar
Organize meetings
Registrations / details on conferences and related travel
Order / maintain communications supplies and promotional materials
Handle general department correspondence
Assist with IT tape backups
Media Coordination
Maintain schedule of media deliverables (working with corporate relations and communications on scheduling content, gathering materials, reminders, etc.)
Compile proof of performance reports for account managers / clients
Media metrics reports for post-events and initiatives
NWTF Convention and Sport Show
Assist in coordination of the Grand National Calling Championships
Maintain rules and results for the contest and sanctioned calling contests
Maintain registrations for the GNCC
Order supplies/trophies and other awards
Minimum of High School Diploma, in addition to five years in office administration
Experience in Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Explorer
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Ability to make decisions and judgments
Ability to work independently
Five Years' Experience
Must be able to lift 25 pounds
Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for long periods of time.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
